# 🚀 Announcing Tutor v22.0.0: Open edX Verawood Support

Hello community,

We are releasing **Tutor v22.0.0** , with support for the Open edX **Verawood** release.

### ⚠ Upgrade notes

- **Python 3.9 is no longer supported.** Tutor now requires **Python 3.10+**
- **Meilisearch v1.36.0 requires a reindex.** The on-disk index format changed, so existing indexes must be discarded and rebuilt
- **Back up `data/meilisearch/data.ms` before upgrading** if you may need to roll back

### 🔥 Highlights

- **Open edX Verawood:** `OPENEDX_COMMON_VERSION` is now `release/verawood.1`
- **Python support updated:** 3.13 and 3.14 are now supported
- **New `ENV_SAVED` action:** plugin authors can run hooks after a save operation
- **Refreshed images:** Caddy 2.11.4, MongoDB 7.0.39, MySQL 8.4.11, Redis 7.4.10, plus Python 3.12.13 and Node.js 24.16.0 in the Open edX image
