# Changing mfe host url

Hello everyone

I have tried to change mfe host url from apps.lms.domain to apps.domain  
(because cloudflare does not support subdomain of subdomain)  
but now I get this error  
An unexpected error occurred. Please click the button below to refresh the page.

could anybody please help me?

Hi @tomg10,

We will need a lot more information to be able to help you debug the issue. The error message you describe just sounds like the message shown to users in the UI. You’ll need to check the browser console to find the full error details. Please post those here and we’ll see if we can help.

So I ran into a similar situation and ended up posting my particular solution here. Maybe this is related to what you’re going through. Anyway hope this helps.
