Hi there this is really blowing my mind.

I just start with a fresh clean Native Install of Open edX, an d trying to publish my first course.

According to the documentation of this link, Subjects and more information can be added to the course.

[https://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/open-edx-building-and-running-a-course/en/open-release-ironwood.master/set\_up\_course/planning\_course\_information/description\_guidelines.html](https://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/open-edx-building-and-running-a-course/en/open-release-ironwood.master/set_up_course/planning_course_information/description_guidelines.html)

Unfortunately I cannot find how to add such information or how to activate it.

I have already activated the search engine and it works well, but the subject I do not know where to add it and I require it to classify the courses on my platform.

Hi @ccarranza78,

Course description can be edited from Studio - navigate to the “Settings” dropdown menu, and look for “Schedule & Details”.

Thanks for your reply bun unfortunately my installation doesn’t have those options.

The last field in that page is “Requirements”
