# Deprecation: Divided (cohorted) discussion management on the legacy instructor dash

The non-mfe Instructor dashboard has a tab that lets you manage divided discussion where you could choose to only grant access to certain discussion topics to certain groups, either a cohort or a specific enrollment track.

This DEPR proposes to remove that feature rather than porting it to the new MFE.
