# Deprecation/Removal: Adventure XBlock

Hi!

We plan to deprecate and remove the Adventure XBlock.

Please read [[DEPR]: Adventure XBlock · Issue #56 · openedx/xblock-adventure · GitHub](https://github.com/openedx/xblock-adventure/issues/56) for more information and to post any questions/comments. The proposed deadline for comments before acceptance is 2023-09-07.

Once the ticket is accepted, removal can happen at any time.

This proposal had no opposition and the deprecation process will continue as planned.
