# Deprecation: Video Bumper (pre-roll video) feature

We are proposing to deprecate and remove the Video Bumper feature from the Video XBlock. The feature has been off by default since 2015, was built exclusively for [edX.org](http://edX.org), and shows no usage signals across 11 years.
