I’m looking to use algorithmic variables to randomize what question a student sees. Do algorithmic variables exist in Open edX or is there an alternative method of randomizing the question that different students receive on a page?

Hi @dskoryk and welcome! Since this is about problem types, I moved your question to the Educators section.

I think this may answer your question: [10.45. Custom Python-evaluated Input Problem (Write-Your-Own-Grader) — Building and Running an edX Course documentation](https://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/edx-partner-course-staff/en/latest/exercises_tools/custom_python.html#write-your-own-grader)
