# Does the Learning MFE support Courseware Search?

According to the docs at [4.8. Enabling Open edX Search — Installing, Configuring, and Running the Open edX Platform documentation](https://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/edx-installing-configuring-and-running/en/latest/configuration/edx_search.html) setting `ENABLE_COURSEWARE_SEARCH` should be sufficient to turn on some feature flags. However, it doesn’t look like there’s anything in the Learning MFE to display a search box.

After some quick grepping, I couldn’t find any calls to [the appropriate API](https://github.com/openedx/edx-platform/blob/master/lms/djangoapps/course_api/urls.py#L12) in `frontend-app-learning`, so… No, it doesn’t look like it supports that at all.
