# How to disable auto login after register?

Hi everyone,  
Anyone know how to disable auto login after user register ?  
Can we add Feature setting or have setting on admin for this ?

Hi,  
I have the same issue I’m working on sending an activation email after registration with disable auto-login after registration.

try to do these steps  
1- update configuration to “false” at lms.env

```auto
    "FEATURES": {
        "SKIP_EMAIL_VALIDATION": false,
        "BYPASS_ACTIVATION_EMAIL_FOR_EXTAUTH": false,

}

```

2- run reset LMS command

I have config as you suggest, but account still auto login.  
There is my config Feature, can you see if have anything should change ?

I was add this setting but still auto login after register.  
Can you share all feature setting so i can see if have anything missing ?

Hi @sonpham  
me too still auto login after registration and I received an activation email.  
I am trying to find the solution by update the core code which is not the perfect way.

yup, have no any document for this. I see Open edX have few hard to use.
