# How to override the account activation email template?

Hi, I’m trying to override the account activation email template in a Tutor-based Open edX setup.

I added my custom template here: `impower-indigo/tutorindigo/templates/indigo/lms/templates/student/edx_ace/accountactivation/email/body.html`

I have also shared ACE overrides here: `impower-indigo/tutorindigo/templates/indigo/lms/templates/ace_common/edx_ace/common/`

Those shared templates work for other emails, but the account activation email still shows the default layout.

Is account activation handled differently from other ACE emails, or is there another template/path involved for this email type?

Open edX release: `Ulmo`  
Tutor version: `21.0.1`
