# Learner unable to enroll in a course

Hi everyone,

I’m pretty new to OpenEDX. I was able to deploy an instance in a virtual machine and it seems that is working correctly. My problem is when a learner tries to enroll in a course the learner gets a “Page not found” error. If a grant the staff role to the learner, he is able to enroll in the course correctly. Why regular learners are not able to enroll in any course?

I reviewed the /edx/var/log/lms/edx.log and I didn’t find any error or meaningful information about this error.
