Hello, I’m a member of 2U’s Aurora team, the current maintainers of the Learning MFE (`frontend-app-learning`) and are seeking a new maintainer for that project. Code: [openedx/frontend-app-learning](https://github.com/openedx/frontend-app-learning) On July 29, 2024 if a new maintainer can be found, I’ll begin transfer of transferring maintainership for the Learning MFE. If no maintainer can be found, the repository will become unmaintained on that date. ---

@braden that sounds great since you’re already CCs on the repo I think that you would be great candidates for this. @nsprenkle do you or your team have any concerns with this transfer? If not, @braden or @farhaanbukhsh can make a PR to update the `catalog-info.yaml` and we can say that this transfer is complete. ---

Actually, given that they are giving up maintainership, I guess we don’t need to wait for that confirmation. @braden can you or @farhaanbukhsh update the catalog-info.yaml file and drop the PR here? ---

@feanil I think we’ll need you to make a GitHub group for us first? Unless I can put two different GitHub users as the `owner:` in catalog-info, but I didn’t think that worked. ---

Aurora has no problem with these new maintainers. Is there anything that we need to do to knowledge transfer or anything? The main Learning MFE developer on the team exited several months ago so our knowledge is currently tertiary, but we are willing to transfer what we can. ---

@braden I’ve created `committers-frontend-app-learning` for you to use here. I’ve added you to that team but I noticed that Farhaan is not a CC on that repo yet so I have not added him to it yet. I’ve opened [Rights Expansion: Farhaan Bukhsh - frontend-app-learning](https://discuss.openedx.org/t/rights-expansion-farhaan-bukhsh-frontend-app-learning/13571) to grant Farhaan access but in the meantime @braden you should be able to proceed with the catalog updates and should already have sufficient rights to begin taking over maintenance. ---
