# Maintenance PRs Incoming: PyPI Publish GH Action

Hey All,

If you are the **maintainer of a repo that publishes to PyPI** this announcement is relevant to you.

The [PyPI publish github action that we use is changing it’s branch/tag convention for how we’re meant to use it](https://github.com/pypa/gh-action-pypi-publish?tab=readme-ov-file#-master-branch-sunset-). To adapt to this change @Emad has created PRs for all repos that currently publish using this action to update it to use the new convention.

**The ask** : Check repos you maintain for these PRs and review/merge them as soon as possible.
