# Notes plugin brokes page layout for certain users

Hello!

We are experiencing the following error for one of our staff users, when launching any unit of any course:

- If _View this course as:_ is _“Staff”_ or _“Specific student”_, notes plugin works ok
- If _ **View this course as:** _ is _ **“Audit”** _ the notes plugin form appears in a strange way (see screenshot below):
  - the form appears somewhere all along the page, even repeated
  - when selecting the text nothing happens
  - the footer’s sticky button “Show notes” does not appear

As said, it only happens to one of our staff users, and only when selecting view this course as Audit, so I think it must be somehow related with user configuration, but cannot figure why…

Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance
