# Openedx createuser failing

I am on master branch of edx-platform

nh3 seems to installed

How to resolve this error?

Hi @ashima, welcome to the forum!

Which version of Tutor are you running? Run `tutor --version` to tell.

It is not usually a good idea to work on the master branch of edx-platform, unless you are going to contribute with changes. To start, install the latest version of Tutor and try with it.
