# Pytest-repo-health is seeking a new maintainer

Hello, 2U is the current maintainer of `pytest-repo-health`. We are no longer able to dedicate the amount of time needed to properly maintain this component to the level described in [OEP-55](https://open-edx-proposals.readthedocs.io/en/latest/processes/oep-0055-proc-project-maintainers.html) and we are seeking a new maintainer.

On 31 December 2025 if now new maintainer can be found I’ll begin putting through the deprecation and removal process.

@UsamaSadiq has agreed to be the maintainer for pytest-repo-health repo. If there are no objections can we please transition the maintainership to him.
