# Replace LearnDash with Open edX

I manage a e-learning product for medical providers to maintain certification, and we are considering replacing our current LMS (LearnDash) with Open edX.

Would anyone have experience with this kind of project and would be willing to offer up your insights? What were the biggest challenges? What were you surprised the most by? What functionality did you lose?
