# Security: Upcoming security release for openedx-platform

A security patch for **openedx/edx-platform** will be added to the **Ulmo** and **Verawood** releases and to the current github master branch around 2026-06-12T14:00:00Z.

It will fix one security defect with a “moderate” [CVSS 3.1 severity rating](https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln-metrics/cvss).

The fixes have been merged to the various branches and the advisory is now published.
