# Video buffer issue on tutor

Dear team,

We are facing issue with edX video player since 2 weeks. We process mp4 file to m3u8 using ffmpeg command and we publish m3u8 url to learner. When we try to backward or forward the video from learner view, there is a delay in the response. Sometimes, it is throwing out of memory error as well. Please find error screenshots for the same.

FFMPEG Command : ffmpy.FFmpeg(inputs={ tmp\_dir + file\_name + “.mp4” :None}, outputs={ e\_content\_path\_c + file\_name + “.m3u8” : " -hls\_time 60 -strftime\_mkdir 1 -hls\_list\_size 0 -hls\_key\_info\_file ‘{0}’ -hls\_segment\_filename {1}/{2}\_%d.ts".format(hls\_keyinfo, file\_name, file\_name)})

Rate limit : 1000req/min  
Django header is default header size.

What version of Open edX are you using? Are you running Tutor? What changed in your instance 2 weeks ago?
