Hello everyone.
We plan to deprecate and remove the USE-JWT-COOKIE header. We will be replacing this with a simpler alternative.
Please read openedx/edx-drf-extensions/issues/371 for more information and to post any questions/comments. The proposed deadline for comments before acceptance is this Friday, 2023-08-18. This is not expected to be a controversial change, but just a change in implementation.
The replacement is actively being developed. See details in the DEPR ticket.
After acceptance, all future notifications around removal will only be posted to the GitHub issue, so be sure to watch that issue if you want further updates.
