I have an embedded application in a page and need to get the student id from the edX ui and can’t seem to find it.
Anyone know how to access that?

It would be good if you put some more detail about your problem. I guess, your looking for user information inside your javascript embedded application, you can use cookie edx-user-info for this. it has logged in user info.
