My name is Tadele Debisa Deressa, and I’m really excited to be part of this inspiring global community. I work as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Wollega University, Ethiopia, where I’ve been teaching and supporting students for more than 11 years. Over the years, I’ve been deeply involved in curriculum design, e-learning coordination, and digital skills training. My current focus is on creating engaging online courses in Website Development, Computer Programming, Database Systems, and Artificial Intelligence — all aimed at helping university and TVET students learn in more flexible, accessible ways. I’m passionate about how open education and technology can transform learning. I joined the Open edX community to learn from others, share ideas, and collaborate on projects that can strengthen digital education in Ethiopia and across Africa. I’m especially interested in localizing and translating content so that learning becomes more inclusive for students who speak different languages. I’m really looking forward to connecting with you all, exchanging experiences, and contributing to this amazing platform.
