Issue with Adding Multiple Question Types in One Problem Box in Studio MFE(Sumac)

Hello Open edX Community,

I’ve been working with Studio MFE (Micro-Frontend) in Sumac, and I’ve encountered an issue. Previously, in the problem box, I was able to add multiple question types (such as MCQs, question boxes, dropdowns, etc.) within a single problem. However, after switching to Studio MFE, it seems that I can no longer add multiple question types within one problem.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting or flag that needs to be enabled to allow this functionality in Studio MFE? Or is this something that has been removed in the latest updates?

Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

@Yagnesh this is a known issue with the MFE. I recommend adding a comment on https://openedx.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/COMM/pages/4517658683/Support+multi-question+fully+featured+problems+in+the+problem+editor. to indicate your support for the proposal.

@sarina Thank you! I also added my comment on that post.

@Yagnesh I’m not certain if this proposal already has a development team. If you’re thinking of working on this problem I would first ask on the wiki page to see if others are already working on it.

This solution will work with the advanced editor using the OLX format and the necessary elements. However, due to the technical steps involved, it may not be the easiest approach for everyone. we can use it on a temporary basis if needed.
