The next Open edX Meetup is closely approaching. It will be held on Thursday, August 18th at 10 AM (EDT). Please mark your calendar and register for the event here.
The meetup will feature two speakers. The first speaker is Hen Eytan, CEO of Annoto, discussing how to use interactive video tools within e-learning modules to optimize learning. The increased learner engagement can in turn be tracked within their analytics dashboard, to measure the impact on learning outcomes.
The second speaker is Elizabeth Madariaga, Co-Founder of Edios Media, presenting on the topic of localizing courses and connecting with learners in their native languages. Elizabeth will present a case study on a recent course translation project, which included the issuing of certificates in the students’ native languages.
