The 2U > R&P team has been working on discovery around the authorization systems within the ecosystem. We’d like to share the tech spec we’ve developed around our proposal for Roles and Permissions (RBAC). The spec includes a diagram of the current systems and our proposal for a new course level roles system.
The tech spec is posted on the Open edX Confluence Wiki. Please review this spec and provide any and all feedback you can, we would love to hear from as many community members as possible regarding the direction and goals of this project!
