2U is seeking new maintainers for the following repos:
If no new maintainers are identified by Nov 1, 2026 we will update catalog-info.yaml entries to unmaintained and propose them for deprecation where appropriate.
These ones are already maintained by non 2U folks:
- credentials - This one is all set
- openedx-webhooks - This is already maintained by Axim
- edx-ace - This is already maintained by Edly
So only on the ones in the updated list here are the ones that need new maintainers. Is there any interest in any of these, of these?
- @jajjibhai007 can you also take on credentials-themes since you are the maintainer of credentials?
- @tonybusa can your team take on frontend-app-authn or any other repos that align with your capacity?
- @Felipe your team has taken on some other enterprise repos before, do you have capacity take on the new enterprise repos that are losing maintainers?
We have been discussing this internally and I was actually going to personally nominate myself for credentials (with a plan of plugginifying it). We’ll are still looking for others in the team that can take on some of this.
OpenCraft is interested in maintaining frontend-app-learner-dashboard and frontend-app-authn and it looks like a few of our core contributors have the capacity; we are just discussing internally exactly who would take on each repo.
