Catalog MFE fix 404 error

how to fix form catalog MFE
api.ts:36 POST http://local.openedx.io:8000/search/unstable/v0/course_list_search/ 404 (Not Found)

Hi @Mostafa_Khairy - could you explain more? What version of Tutor are you running? Are you sure you’re running the Catalog MFE - it is being released optionally with Ulmo, which has been delayed.

i use tutor, version 20.0.4
and edx-platform open-release/sumac.3

and frontend-app-catalog release/ulmo

@Mostafa_Khairy I think you have configuration issues. If you’re running Tutor 20, you should be on release/teak branches. And the Catalog MFE will not work until Ulmo is released, because the APIs have changed. When Tutor 21 is released, you will need to upgrade to Tutor 21 and Ulmo branches before you can use the Catalog MFE.

understanding, thanks

There is a common problem between Tutor 20 and the Ulmo website that you are seeing. Following changes to APIs after teak/sumac.3, Catalog MFE will not work with your 404 error because those routes do not exist yet. You can either stay on the teak branches until Ulmo-compatible APIs are ready, or you can switch everything to Tutor 21 + Ulmo once it’s stable. If you try to fix the endpoints by hand, you’ll break other things in the MFE.
