We plan to deprecate and remove uses of the CSS styling toolkit edx-pattern-library from edx-platform. Unlike many of these deprecation notices, we have actually already started to remove it, but realized we had never posted notice of intent to do so.
This is obviously not for Juniper, but for the next release. This removal should only affect folks that might have made a custom theme using edx-pattern-library and assume that platform will include it for you.
