Deprecation/Removal: REGISTRATION_EXTENSION_FORM Django Setting

Hi there,

We plan to deprecate and remove the REGISTRATION_EXTENSION_FORM Django setting and replace it with the new PROFILE_EXTENSION_FORM Django setting

Please read [DEPR]: Drop REGISTRATION_EXTENSION_FORM Django Setting for more information and to post any questions/comments. The proposed deadline for comments before acceptance is 2026-05-05T00:00:00Z.

Once the ticket is accepted, removal can happen at any time.

After acceptance, all future notifications around removal will only be posted to the GitHub issue, so be sure to watch that issue if you want further updates.
