I am trying to add discussion component from studio. problem I am facing is the it is not visible on lms even though discussion is enabled.

Did you enable forum plugin and run tutor local launch again?
I didn’t @rax. Thanks for guiding me. I was able to see all the forum settings so I thought that it was enabled by default.
For others, who are facing same kind of problem, here are the steps:
tutor plugins install forum
tutor plugins enable forum
tutor local launch
It should do the magic
