Docker removing open source organisations - Will it affect Open edX?

Hello All,

I read this article recently Docker is deleting Open Source organisations - what you need to know

And I was wondering does it affect Open edX/ edX images at all ?

Does it affect older images or newer images ?

Does it affect tutor based images ?

Tutor is not concerned, as far as I understand. The “overhangio” account is not an organization.
In any case, docker.io is not a critical piece of the Tutor infrastructure. We can always launch our own repository and store our images there. Users of older releases will only have to update one tutor setting (DOCKER_REGISTRY).
