Is there any way that the Drag and Drop v2 course component could be larger in height to allow for easier editing? This has become a pain point to even continue to use this type of course component.
For example, it’s hard to adjust the target zone locations when you cannot see the image in one window. Has anyone thought about making the target zones adjustable with the mouse instead of keying in values?
Does anyone have alternatives to using this course component?
I’ve briefly reviewed Drag and Drop Tutorial | H5P, and I know that this can be brought in using the LTI Consumer course component. The video shows adding target zones and draggables using a mouse for initial placement and size.
It looks like @Agrendalath maintains this block, maybe he could help. It looks like there’s some open issues on the repo that describe some other problems, too.
This XBlock has lots of room for improvement, however we haven’t had anyone sponsor its development in a long time. The whole editor should be completely re-designed and re-implemented. The learner interface could use some love too. But even if we put big refactors aside, I agree that there are lots of smaller improvements that could be made, such as making the modal bigger.
If anyone would like to take on some of this work and eventually open PRs to improve it, or would like to sponsor us to improve it, please let us know!

I’m not too knowledgeable about H5P but it does sound nice to not have to reinvent the wheel. If you’re using H5P, I would assume it’s much better to use it via an H5P XBlock rather than LTI.
