There was some discussion in the Maintenance WG recently about tickets for funded contributions. When these tickets go on the board for the repo they are related to, they can clutter up the repo with issues that the maintainer does not need to pay attention to. This can increase the workload of maintainers to triage things that they may not want to triage or deal with. For now, we ask that if you are working on a funded contribution, you track related work in the public-engineering repo. Obviously make sure you’re working with maintainers so that they are aware of what’s coming and who’s working on it but let’s reduce how many small task related issues are on the repo to reduce their workload.
