Architecture Coordination This is for discussing Architecture Coordination Working Group backlog items, meeting notes, process, and decision making. It is not the place to discussion the architecture itself, or to propose architectural changes. That should go in #development:architecture. Marketing Discussion of how to market the Open edX platform. DevOps Where the DevOps working group meets to talk business. Core Contributors This space is for discussions related to the Core Contributor Program. The Open edX Core Contributor Program is a program that grants specific types of access to Open edX community members to enable them to further the development and adoption of the Open edX platform. Rights and responsibilities vary from role to role, which are defined on the Core Contributor Role Definitions page. Core Contributors may variously help with translations, market the Open edX platform, serve as project managers, write code to advance the Open edX software, and more. Deprecation We work to remove old, outdated parts of the Open edX codebase in order to improve code cleanliness, readability, and extensibility. Data The Data Working Group is focused on advancing the data and analytics capabilities of the Open edX platform at all levels. Full details in Confluence. Contributor Coordination Description: The Contributor Coordination Working Group aims to improve and establish spaces and mechanisms for collaboration between core contributors and other members of the Community. Build-Test-Release This working group’s charter is to improve and eventually own the twice-yearly Open edX releases. Full details in Confluence. Frontend The Frontend Working Group is responsible for stewardship of the frontend of the Open edX platform. The working group exists as a technical advisory board, curators of our frontend strategic roadmap, and to empower the community to execute on our shared challenges and opportunities.
