HarvardX is hiring an Instructional Technologist! This person helps project leads build and test courses, both on edX and on other platforms. They manage the rerun process, triage tech needs, and report bugs to edX (when I don’t get to them first). You don’t need to know how to program, but a strong knowledge of HTML and CSS is important.
This position differs from the Project Lead in that it works across all of our courses, whereas Project Leads work on a few specific courses at a time. You need to be ok with a variety of different workflows, and with switching between them.
Because of the amount of interaction required with project leads, this is an on-location job in Cambridge MA - no remote candidates.
