[ 🌰 Nutmeg] Release Plan

As discussed in our [:maple_leaf:Maple] Retrospective, the BTR group is looking to start planning the next release (:cherries:Nutmeg) earlier than we’ve done in the past.

The first step is to build a list of tasks, issues and questions that need to be addressed for the release. We’ll do this collaboratively and asynchronously!

The process is simple, create an issue in the BTR GitHub repository and assign it to the nutmeg release candidate milestone.

To help in this effort, we need someone to take the steps from Process to Create an Open edX Release into Github issues.

The task is straightforward:

  • Turn each step of the release process into Github issues.
  • If any of the steps is confusing, ask the group! (it probably means we need to document it better!)
