My name is Merav and I have joined very recently openedx in order to establish my own school aimed for teachers to work on their social emotional skills. I was very disappointed to find the same learning format as you find in all the LMS. I want to develop a micro learning flow which is engaging in terms of UI and allows you to insert gamifications elements. I wish I could use storyline app of Articulate 360 on openedx. An example of micro learning course designed in a unique way and allows you to collect points after you finish each course until you reach the master level. Here is an example: Makes

As a matter of fact, there are! Take a look at GitHub - openedx/openedx-learning.
This is still in the early stages of development, though. It’ll be a while until we can replicate the behavior you link to out of the box.
