Open edX Sites - Multiple sites in production

I’m trying to use the multiple sites functionality in Open edX Olive release.

I tried the following instructions:

In my application with the development installation it worked normally. However, in my application in production, following the same steps did not work.

When trying to access the created subdomain page, the browser displays the following error: Error code: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT

Is some kind of configuration missing?
