Openedx deploy on EKS

Hi Team, We are facing a challenge while attempting to upgrade our Classic Load Balancer (CLB) to an Application Load Balancer (ALB) in our Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) environment. Despite our efforts, we have encountered some hurdles in the migration process.

Our main goal is to take full advantage of the features and capabilities offered by ALB, but we could use some guidance and insights from the community to make this migration smoother.

We would greatly appreciate any assistance or advice you can provide on the following:

  1. Recommendations: Do you have any best practices, tips, or lessons learned from similar migrations within EKS?
  2. Common Pitfalls: What are the common challenges or issues one should be aware of when migrating from CLB to ALB in an EKS setup?
  3. Tooling and Resources: Are there specific tools or resources you recommend for easing the migration process?
  4. Integration with EKS: How can we ensure a seamless integration of the ALB with our existing EKS services and applications?
  5. Any specific community members or experts who have experience with this migration, or perhaps documented case studies?
