Has anyone integrated a recommendation engine with Open edX? We have a prospective customer asking if there’s any way to recommend courses based on what courses the learner has already taken, or other criteria.

Hey, yes we have.
What we did was added extra field in course, it was for subject, it took multiple subjects as input.
For example :-
Course Name : Science 101
Subjects : Physics, Chemistry, Biology
And if the user is enrolled in Science 101 they’ll get recommended Other courses with simillar subjects.
