Search function in Tutor

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue with the search function in Tutor, as the search results are not what I expected. I would like someone to explain to me how the search function in Tutor works so that I can find a way to troubleshoot the problem I’m experiencing.

I don’t think Tutor has a search function. Do you mean searching for courses in the LMS (Open edX LMS)? Or searching for text among courses in the Open edX LMS? Or searching the forum posts?

My intention is to search for text among courses in the Open edX LMS,but it provides incomplete results.

I don’t think there is any way to search for text among all courses at the same time.

Under the first link you provided, there is the ENABLE_DASHBOARD_SEARCH feature flag, which allows searching in all enrolled courses.

Some newer links are Enabling Open edX Search — Latest documentation and Searching the Course — Latest documentation though they’re not exactly the same. If you are missing some information, I’d recommend asking in a new thread.
