Sign In with LinkedIn, Palm and the frontend-app-authn

While testing our fork with palm.2, I wanted to test the authentication with LinkedIn like we currently have with nutmeg.3.

While trying to setup a new application at LinkedIn, I first discovered that “Sign In with LinkedIn” has been deprecated has of August 1st 2023 and replaced with “Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect”.

I then discovered that the frontend-authentication-app seems to only support Apple, Facebook, Google and Microsoft as is the case currently for www.edx.org.

Is anyone using sign in with LinkedIn on palm?

I’m using Redwood but SSO with LinkedIn not working. Also I notice that Linkedin also update Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect

I followed the instructions given in 4.23.3.2.1. Integrating with an OAuth2 Identity Provider — Installing, Configuring, and Running the Open edX Platform documentation

Please let me know if anyone is using LinkedIn for SSO.
