Hello all,
tCRIL is pleased to announce a new contribution project to help advance Open edX platform. This project aims to support Google Analytics 4 before the previous versions of GA are turned off for the majority of users on July 1 2023. We are seeking proposals from existing community members as well as qualified organizations looking for a first project to join the community. Due to the time sensitive and relatively well understood nature of the project, the proposal time is short! All proposals from providers interested in undertaking this work must be submitted by February 24, 2023 and tCRIL expect to choose a provider by March 1, 2023.
The goal is to integrate GA4 into the following repos on main and Olive branches (where possible):
- edx-platform
- frontend-platform
- frontend-app-learning
- frontend-app-authn
- frontend-app-account
- frontend-app-profile
- frontend-app-discussions
We are looking for providers who have experience with both Open edX MFEs and a working knowledge of Google Analytics configuration.
Details on the provider selection and project status, as well as a draft Statement of Work explaining the proposed project in more detail, are located at the confluence “funded contributions” page for this project. The draft Statement of Work can (and will) be amended as conversations with the providers unfold but should be considered the most authoritative source of what we are looking for from these proposals.
