Ulmo call for testers!

Calling All Community Members to Test the Ulmo Release!

October 9th is the official cut date for our next named release: Ulmo!
We thoroughly test every release candidate before launch to ensure the Open edX versions you install are stable, reliable, and ready for production.

You’re invited to help!
No matter your role in the Open edX community if you’ve ever used the platform as a learner, instructor, developer, or admin you’re fully qualified to be a tester!

How to join?
It’s easy!

  1. Review the “Getting Started” section in the Ulmo Release Testing Spreadsheet to understand the process.

  2. Browse the available test cases in the Ulmo Tests tab and add your name in the “Assigned To” column for the test you’d like to run (this helps us avoid duplicate efforts!).

  3. Visit our dedicated testing sandbox, run the test, and log your results directly in the spreadsheet.

  4. If you find a bug, please file an issue in this GitHub repository. Our community product managers and engineers will triage and fix it.

The spreadsheet includes links to the sandbox, a quick-start cheat sheet, and everything you need to get started. (We are working on the spreadsheet yet)

:date: Deadline: All tests must be completed by December 9th.
