I have sort of a dummy question. We have old courses without edX VAL records.
Problem
Exporting the course and re-importing the course makes all video components disappear without a clear error or exception on the UI.
The videos does exist in the XML export, but the UI import process eats them up – they’re not imported.
Workaround
Export the course via the UI, and re-import it via the command line. Then subsequent imports will work.
Any suggestions?
I think the problem is because those videos have no edX VAL entries, so they’re getting ignored. Can I create edX VAL entries to old videos?
