Hi all,
Aspects will soon be dropping support for Python 3.8 and Open edX versions that require it (anything before Redwood). There will also be some other breaking changes that will get rolled up into a 2.0 release within the next week or two. The first version will have no new Aspects features, only the breaking changes and bug fixes.
If you are running a live version of Aspects, please make sure your deployments are pinned it to <2
to avoid unexpected upgrades.
The list of changes that we’re targeting is being maintained here: Data Working Group · GitHub
