BTR Issues Weekly Update

:rotating_light: Next Milestone: Koa.3 on April 9th

Need volunteers

  • Issue#5: Write Juniper → Koa upgrade instructions. [30 min]

  • Issue#6: The Gradebook MFE makes undue calls to analytics services [30 min]

  • Issue#24: Backport Mongo 4.0 support to Koa :rotating_light:

If you are looking to contribute for the first time, these issues can be a good starting point:

  • Issue#7: This fix has been implemented it just needs to be backported to the koa.master branch.
  • Issue#10: We need a volunteer to annotate the setting so we can close this issue. *[30 min] (See Doc-a-thon 2021 for guidance)

  • Issue#47: We’re looking for someone to attempt a native installation with MongoDB 4.0 and create PR on the edx/configuration repo to make it the default for the native install.

issue#39: @arbrandes created PRs on the master and lilac.master branches of the configuration repo to set COMMON_ECOMMERCE_BASE_URL as part of the native install.

:rotating_light: Next Milestone: Lilac.milestone.1 on April 26th - This will be our first attempt at tagging a release candidate for Lilac.

:sos: Need volunteers

  • Issue#52: A few repos use a pinned version of django debug toolbar. We have to decide which should be updated.
  • Issue#30: Coordinate, and if necessary execute, the tasks necessary to get the Payment MFE up to speed for Lilac

issue#56 : @Maksim_Sokolskiy Spotted an issue with the MySQL client and server packages and was very quick to create PRs in the configuration repo with fixes on master, koa.master and lilac.master. Thanks to @jill for merging it quickly!
