Contributor Coordination WG Moving to Asynchronous Model

Hi everyone,

As part of our continuous efforts to make the best use of our time and align with how most of our collaboration already happens, the Contributor Coordination Working Group will transition to a primarily asynchronous model.

Over the past few months, we’ve noticed that most of our coordination already takes place through tickets, working group channels, and direct async updates. As a result, our monthly meetings have become less critical, often lacking pressing agenda items. To reflect this reality and encourage more efficient collaboration, we’ve agreed to:

  1. Pause recurring synchronous meetings
  2. Convene ad hoc meetings only when specific topics warrant real-time discussion
  3. Share updates and follow-ups in async channels moving forward

If you’d like to review our working group’s scope, communication channels, or current membership, you can refer to our charter.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this WG. We believe this adjustment reflects the group’s maturity and the decentralized nature of our work. Stay tuned!
