Hi Everyone,

I would like to nominate Ayaz Quraishi from Edly by Arbisoft as a Marketing Core Contributor.

Ayaz has been contributing to the Open edX Marketing Working Group since 2021 and aided in activities related to competitor analysis, SEO optimization, website enhancements, market research, customer experience, event planning, and many more marketing related activities. Ayaz is currently contributing about 20 hours per month towards Open edX related marketing efforts and plans to uphold such time commitment.

Kindly consider his nomination. This nomination period will be open between now and November 15th, 2023.

He’s been putting in Core Contributor level work already, so it would be great to bring him on. I think he’ll be a great addition to the marketing working group.

I support this nomination. Ayaz has been contribuiting valuable insights and efforts to the MWG since 2021. He is a very valuable member of the Open edX community!

Ayaz gets my vote! You’ve been working a lot for the marketing working group, and for a long time, it’s time you graduate to core contributor :slight_smile:

Since we have not been able to speak with @ayazquraishi or heard from them in email or on the GitHub ticket Requesting CC onboarding for Ayaz Quraishi · Issue #979 · openedx/axim-engineering · GitHub, please be advised that @ayazquraishi has not signed the Core Contributor legal agreement and as such should not have special access (beyond that of what any other community member would have) to any Axim-owned system.

@ayazquraishi is welcome to respond to the emails we’ve sent or comment on the GitHub ticket if they become available to continue the onboarding process.
