Disabling "important dates"

Hi,

Is there a way to completely disable “important dates” for courses ? Ideally, it would hide all the links related to dates, the Dates tab, etc.

If I understand the issue correctly, this will only hide the tab, not the sidebar links ? It would make sense to hide both.
